Reskilling Vs. Upskilling

Given the rapidly changing landscape, the 21st century must include reskilling as an absolute imperative for individuals or organizations interested in remaining competitive and relevant. Reskilling means learning new skills or upgrading existing skills to be agile to the transformation expected in the labor market, technology, and changing job roles. Unlike reskilling, which includes the traditional concept for upgrading current competencies, preparation through it is essentially for future demands and shifts that may change the way work is done in an industry.
